The third album by traditional Celtic and Nordic acoustic music ensemble Wherligig, Return from Fingal (2004) features the third lineup of the band: Stephanie Koons on hammered dulcimer, neoceltic harp, and bodhran; Mark Yount on mandolin, octave mandolin, mountain dulcimer, and vocals; Ken Koons on guitars, tin whistle, low whistle, smallpipes, bones, and bodhran; and Ryan Koons on fiddle, tin whistle, and squeeze box.
Artist Bio
Since 1985, Wherligig has delighted and educated audiences in the US mid-Atlantic with the earthy sounds of acoustic Celtic and Nordic traditional music. This family music ensemble combines repertoire from Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, Sweden, and Wales in performances ranging from the concert stage to classrooms, restaurants, festivals, weddings, and private gatherings.
